The project

Xero Me is Xero’s employee app for payroll, serving more than 622,000 people globally. I was the product designer responsible for its end-to-end mobile timesheet experience across iOS and Android.

We shipped the first Start and End entry experience in Australia within three months. Once the core workflow was live, the next challenge was repeat entry, a task employees needed to complete again and again.

The pivotal insight was simple: most workdays look like the day before. We designed a flow that allowed employees to copy the previous period, edit only what had changed and submit. This shifted the experience from rebuilding an entire timesheet to handling only the exceptions.

The work was later demonstrated live on the Xerocon main stage by Xero’s Chief Product Officer.
